Taking on a similar curved, slim design form to the Nokia E71 the E63 is a very practical business budget smartphone. The E63 has two color versions, ruby red and ultramarine blue, and, of course, it hasn’t got as many features as the more expensive E71. It lacks a GPS receiver, and no HSDPA connectivity, so the 3G of Nokia E63 will be limited to speeds of only 384 Kb/s.It lack also preinstalled games, and it has a downgraded camera. On the other hand, it possesses the same excellent e-mail and messaging capabilities as other members of the Nokia E-series. And the biggest news here: The E63 sells about half what the E71 cost. The E63 comes wrapped in a high-quality plastic chassis, which is comfortable to hold. The Nokia E63 Blue has been released as a SIM free mobile phone, this means that you can use your existing SIM card containing your mobile number, network account details and any ‘saved to SIM’ contacts, there are no network credit checks involved in the purchasing of the Nokia E63 as the handset is unlocked to all networks and there are no extra ongoing monthly costs for line rental involved. The Nokia E63 provides customizable shortcut keys and a standby screen. A new Switch Mode permits you to create two separate standby home screens to accommodate features for work and play. Each home screen can be personalized with your favorite applications including a digital music player, video player, camera functionality, games, corporate or personal email. You can access your home page, calendar, address book, and e-mail from the keyboard’s dedicated shortcut keys, which you can customize to launch another application of your choice. Holding down a shortcut key for a few seconds triggers a different action. For example, holding down the calendar key lets you enter a new appointment. You can add up to 15 shortcuts on the E63′s standby screen. And finding a contact in your phone is as simple as typing the first few letters of the person’s name. Messaging and internet use is the Nokia E63 strong point. It comes fully equipped for easy-to-install and easy-to-use professional and personal email. Setting up personal e-mail is a snap. You just enter your e-mail address and password for on-the-go e-mail. The E63 supports e-mail accounts from over a thousand ISPs as well as Gmail, Hotmail, and Yahoo Mail. The free Nokia
Mail for Exchange client synchronizes your phone with push e-mail, contacts, and calendar appointments from Microsoft Exchange. You’ll enjoy reliable real-time access to your email, calendar, contacts and tasks, as well as be able to download attachments like Word, Excel, Powerpoint or PDF files directly to the device. The Nokia N63 comes with integrated Web Browser with Flash support letting you to check favorite websites, blogs and social networks. The d-pad supports convenient mouse maneuvering, and Nokia’s Mini Map feature, which zooms out to a full-screen view of the entire page, is helpful for speedy navigation. Just find the section you want, and zoom in. The phone equips with full QWERTY keyboard makes it easy to compose and respond to email with just one hand. It features intelligent input with auto-completion, auto-correction, and learning capability for fast and error-free typing. The organizer applications on the E63 are robust, offering full synchronization with your computer by USB connection, Bluetooth, or Exchange Server. Adding, searching, and modifying contacts, calendar entries, and tasks is easy and painless. The E63 also comes loaded with QuickOffice Premier, which allows you to open and edit email attachments created in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint, including the DOCX and XLSX formats of Word and Excel 2007, from the device. The Nokia E63 phone works on GSM networks supporting all 2G frequencies (850/900/1800/1900 MHz). Its also operating on 3G UMTS/WCDMA networks. There are three versions of the Nokia E63 smartphone: Nokia E63-1, Nokia E63-2 and Nokia E63-3, the difference between them being the UMTS bands they work on (900 / 2100 MHz, 850 / 1900 MHz or 850 / 2100 MHz).Other connectivity options including wireless technology WLAN Wi-Fi (802.11 b/g), UPnP and Bluetooth 2.0 with A2DP support, plus it also supports USB 2.0 and microUSB 2.0. That rss page on your blog here is brilliant, you should tell people about it in your upcoming post. I haven’t noticed it a first, now I’m using it each morning to check on any updates. I’m on a really slow dial-up link in Australia and it’s quite daunting to sit there and wait for such a long time ’til the page loads… but hey, I just found your rss page and added it to the Google Reader and voil? – I’m always up-to-date! Well buddy, keep up the good work and make that rss button a little bigger so that other people can enjoy that as well
Amazing, I didn’t knew this, appreciated.
