This cell phone provides quad-band connectivity (850 MHz, 900 MHz, 1800 MHz, 1900 MHz), which means it will work on any GSM network worldwide. The 3G UMTS/HSDPA will be limited only to regions with 2100 MHz coverage (Europe and Asia). It does not support U.S. UMTS/HSDPA bands. This means the Nokia N82 won’t work on AT&T’s 3G network or T-Mobile’s upcoming network. In the United States and foreign territories where 2100 MHz 3G networks are not available, you’ll continue to receive data service via EDGE network (depending on network compatibility).
